KMU STUDY RELATED
KMU Email Service
An e-mail account will be automatically given on the day of registration to all KMU students. They do not need to apply an account by themselves.
Please log on to The Open Webmail viahttp://cc.kmu.edu.tw/
Email address is define as following format: login ID@cc.kmu.edu.tw
The login ID start with “u”.
For example: The student with student number 912345, his email address is u912345@cc.kmu.edu.tw
Course Registration
The course registration is operated on the Web Registration System.
Since the system is in Chinese, please consult with the assistant from your department about course registration if you need any help to use the system.
School classes begin on Sep. 16. There are two weeks of Add/Drop Course Period for students to add/drop courses after school classes begin. All international students can take any courses offered by departments and institutes other than their majors.
Academic Terms and Dates
Based on the KMU academic calendar, the first session (Fall Semester) is from September to January, and the second session (Spring Semester) is from February to June.

From Monday to Friday, each class takes 50 minutes and one class counts for one credit

Exams
There are two types of exams to evaluate students’ academic studies
a) Daily performance: based on teacher’s schedule
b) Mid-term and final Exam: Based on the arrangement of the Office of Academic Affairs. (Please refer to KMU Academic Calendar)
 
Grade Evaluation
KMU uses a numerical percentage system based on 100 points. Undergraduates are required to achieve 60 to pass in a subject. Graduate students must achieve 70. The average grade of subjects is the score of graduation.
